Who We Are
Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh Polska (HSS Polska) is a voluntary, non-profit, social and cultural organisation that works to preserve and live by the eternal values of Hindu Dharma through service (sewa), self-development (sanskār), and community unity (sangathan).
We are part of the global family of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) organizations active across more than 56 countries – including HSS UK, HSS USA, HSS Canada, and HSS Australia.
In Poland, our activities bring together families, youth, and children who wish to learn, share, and contribute positively to Polish society while staying rooted in the values of Hindu culture.
Our Foundation
We are open to everyone interested in the universal values of respect, discipline, harmony, and service.
Sanskār
Sanskār refers to cultivating good habits, moral strength, and cultural refinement – living values such as truth, respect, discipline, & compassion.
Why it matters: Sanskār transforms knowledge into character. It ensures that external achievement is balanced by internal strength and ethical clarity – helping individuals become dependable citizens of both Poland and the wider world.
Sewa
Sewa means selfless service – offering one’s time, energy, and skills for the welfare of others without expectation of reward.
Why it matters: Sewa builds empathy and social responsibility. It reminds us that individual wellbeing and collective harmony are inseparable. Through service, we contribute positively to Poland, our host society, while living the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — The world is one family.
Sangathan
Sangathan means organised unity – coming together with shared purpose, mutual trust, and coordinated effort.
Why it matters: Unity multiplies strength. Through sangathan, we realise that individual talents reach their highest potential when harmonised for the common good. It teaches us humility, reliability, and respect for diversity.
